Lil Wayne Talks to MTV, Says He Won’t Bother Jay-Z for a Feature

Lil Wayne spoke with MTV after coming off stage at the BET Awards about his upcoming album Carter V. Wayne said there will be no Jay-Z collab for the 'Dusse' track and he stated he didn't want to bother Jay-Z regarding a feature. Check out the interview below.

Interview: Dj Scream and Dj Steel Talk's Honest With Future

Last night, Future was in-studio at Sirius XM on the Hip Hop Nation channel 44 for his Album release party for Honest. DJ Steel held down the 1's and 2's as DJ Scream talked to Future about how his new album came together, featured artists on the project and more. Guests and fans were welcomed into Sirius XM studios as Future spoke live about his music while they enjoyed food and drinks. Future also talked about certain tracks, including one featuring Nicki Minaj which did not make the album due to time constraints, but will be released at a later date.

News: Joell Ortiz and The Heatmakerz Team up for ‘House Slippers’ Album

Joell Ortiz has announced during a recent interview with Complex, that he is working on a solo project, House Slippers which will be executive produced by The Heatmakerz. The legendary Heatmakerz have worked with numerous artists and created sounds for everyone including Dip-set and more. Joell has also announced that he has signed a solo deal with Penalty Entertainment and 'House Slippers' will be released later this year. Billboard predicted Jay-Z and Kanye West latest release, Watch the Throne would sell an estimated 400k-500k copies, and they were dead on. The album sold 320,893 digital copies and 115,186 hard CD copies. This news makes this the 5th number one album for Kanye and the 12th number one album for Jay-Z.

EMINEM & ROYCE DA 5'9 DROPPING EP IN JUNE

Eminem and Royce Da 5'9 have confirmed that they will be dropping their project June 14th on Shady Records. The project will include production from Bangledesh, Havoc and Mr. Porter to name a few. Here is what the two had to say about the project:

Eminem: “Royce and I started hanging out again and inevitably that led us back into the studio. At first we were just seeing where it went without any real goal in mind, but the songs started to come together crazy, so here we are.”

Royce Da 5'9: “I’m excited to see this project come to fruition considering the long lapse in time between when we worked before and now. We had a blast doing it and we just hope everyone enjoys it while we’re working on the ‘Monster’ that will be the Slaughterhouse album. #TeamShady”

We can only hope this project will contain classic music, but only time will tell.
