NORE ADDRESSES PRODIGY OVER BOOK ALLEGATIONS

Prodigy of Mobb Deep's recent book is causing some problems between several rappers in the game. A couple days ago excerpts from the book were released where Prodigy states:

"The whole crew pulled up and parked our trucks in the bus terminal facing the club to get a good look at everybody out front. Tragedy and Capone were standing at the front door facing us. Nitty spotted N.O.R.E. walking over to them. “Anyone got a razor?” Nitty asked Twin and me, but we didn’t. Nitty, Twin, and Money No approached N.O.R.E. “Come over here so we can talk,” Nitty told him, putting his arm around N.O.R.E.’s neck and walking him into the street. After a few steps, Nitty started punching N.O.R.E. in the face while he had him in a headlock. N.O.R.E. dropped to the ground and the crew jumped him. Gotti, Havoc, and I stood by the trucks and watched them beat the clothes off that boy. Man, I never saw somebody get jumped so bad!"

Then, N.O.R.E talked with MTV to get his side of the story below:

After that, Prodigy was on The Breakfast Club Radio program in NYC discussing his book and the allegation that Capone snitched on Havoc's brother, and N.O.R.E. called in to comment.

Now, today we see a clip from Forbez DVD of Capone addressing Prodigy about the snitching allegations. This looks like it could get UGLY!!

THE SOURCE MAG MAY 2011 COVERS IDRIS ELBA

The Source Covers actor Idris Elba for their May 2011 Cover Issue. Here's what they had to say:

In our May 2011 issue The Source takes a dramatic turn as the Gods go crazy and we feature international English actor Idris Elba on the cover as he discusses his most controversial movie role, the all-seeing, all-hearing Norse god Heimdall in the new Spring blockbuster film Thor. Interviewed by Miles Marshall Lewis, Elba addresses the controversy caused by his character’s race, producing for Jay-Z and his evolution as a thespian––from a drug kingpin on HBO’s The Wire to a god in Thor.

Idris is a very good actor and he does give us diversity with each character he portrays, so this issue should be good. Make sure to pick up the May issue of the Source Magazine today!

EMINEM & ROYCE DA 5'9 DROPPING EP IN JUNE

Eminem and Royce Da 5'9 have confirmed that they will be dropping their project June 14th on Shady Records. The project will include production from Bangledesh, Havoc and Mr. Porter to name a few. Here is what the two had to say about the project:

Eminem: “Royce and I started hanging out again and inevitably that led us back into the studio. At first we were just seeing where it went without any real goal in mind, but the songs started to come together crazy, so here we are.”

Royce Da 5'9: “I’m excited to see this project come to fruition considering the long lapse in time between when we worked before and now. We had a blast doing it and we just hope everyone enjoys it while we’re working on the ‘Monster’ that will be the Slaughterhouse album. #TeamShady”

We can only hope this project will contain classic music, but only time will tell.
